We’d like to tell you a story

Over two years ago we got together with some friends and held a tabletop sale in our village to raise money for charity. It was cold and a very wet Saturday. We gathered with boxes of our unwanted stuff and set out our tables in the rain. Very few people turned up to take a look, but something strange happened. Gradually, throughout the day we sold our things to each other and had loads of fun haggling over prices. At the end of the day we all went home with the same amount of stuff as we came with but it was all other people’s stuff: things we never knew we wanted. And the best bit was we made a load of money for the local charity.

Get a virtual stall...

Imagine doing just that but setting out your stall online away from the rain ! – that’s what 2good2tip is all about.  Its having a virtual stall in the comfort of your own home to load all your pictures and desciptions of your unwanted stuff and then sharing your stall with your friends. Don’t throw perfectly good but unwanted things on the tip, or store them away in your loft for years: put them on your stall and make a bit of cash from them.

...but buy and sell in person

You’ll be creating friendly communities in which to buy, sell or swap – face to face. It’s a mix of the old and the new: selling things traditionally but with a modern slant. Plus the buyers, in turn, may well have stuff you want. Donate the cash you make to charity or save it for the kids or put it towards a holiday – it’s up to you!

We only charge a membership fee to have a stall. You can buy and sell or swap however you like – and you keep everything you make: we don’t take any commission whatsoever.
