We’d like to tell you a story...

Over two years ago we got together with some friends and held a tabletop sale in our village to raise money for charity. It was cold and a very wet Saturday. We gathered with boxes of our unwanted stuff and set out our tables in the rain. Very few people turned up to take a look, but something great happened. Throughout the day, we sold our things to each other and had loads of fun haggling over prices. We all went home with things our friends didn't want anymore and things we really wanted. And the best bit of all -  we made a load of money for the local childrens hospice charity and kept all that unwanted stuff OUT OF THE TIP- we call it recycling with a smile !

Imagine doing just that but setting out your stall online, away from the rain ! and making community groups where those stalls are seen, so you can buy and sell with people you know, or people who are local to you – that’s what 2good2tip is all about.

Have a stall in the comfort of your own home  where you can load pictures and desciptions of your unwanted  things - then share your stall with your friends, family, work colleagues, people at your toddler group, scout group, WI, Pub or any sport or social club.... Don’t throw perfectly good, but unwanted things on the tip, or store them away in your loft for years.

RECYLE IT / SELL IT / SWAP IT. You are helping others and helping yourself - its a WIN WIN situation!

You’ll be joining and creating friendly communities in which to buy, sell or swap – face to face. It’s a mix of the old and the new: selling things traditionally but with a modern slant. Plus the buyers, in turn, may well have stuff you want. Donate the cash you make to charity or save it for the kids pocket money, help with the bills or put it towards a holiday – it’s up to you!

We only charge a small membership fee to have a stall (£1 per month). You can buy and sell or swap however you like – and you keep everything you make: we don’t take any commission whatsoever.

Keeping things out of the tip helps the environment – and helps your pocket.
