We all have things around the house we no longer want or need. Many are perfectly good, or certainly 2good2tip. Someone else could make good use of them – you just need a simple, cheap way of letting potential buyers know you have them for sale. Well, now it couldn’t be easier: just take a stall on 2good2tip.

Sell your unwanted stuff locally, easily and cheaply – just put a picture and a description on your stall whenever you come across something you don’t want. The thrill of getting a few quid for something you were planning to bin is great!

When you’ve got an interested buyer, arrange to meet up in person – and do the deal face to face. That’s the 2good2tip difference.

Getting started

There’s just one small quarterly fee to register and no commission is taken on your sales – the cash you make is all yours! Register for either Level 1 or Level 2 depending on how much you have to sell and how many places you want your stall to be seen in.

Join 2good2tip and start selling instantly. Just subscribe for as little as £3 for three months – that’s just £1 a month – then simply renew at the end of the quarter to keep your stall running.

Level 1
THE BASIC LEVEL OF MEMBERSHIP
	10 items shown on the stall at any one time. Sell and replace as you go. Sell as much as you want.
	The price range per individual item is zero to £100 (you may want to give it away!).
	You can be seen on up to five community places (e.g. home, work, club, etc.).
	Choose from a selection of themes to personalise your stall.
	Subscription: £3 for three months (that’s just £1 a month!).
	Renew every three months to keep your stall running.

	Level 2
	FOR SEASONED 2GOOD2TIPPERS!
		20 items shown on the stall at any one time. Sell and replace as you go. Sell as much as you want.
		The price range per individual item is zero to £250 (you may want to give it away!).
		You can be seen on up to eight community places (e.g. home, work, club, etc.).
		Choose from a selection of themes to personalise your stall.
		Plus if you have a higher-priced item you get a stallholder ad to sell any one item up to the value of £1,500 – one item at a time but you can change that item as much as you want.
		Subscription: £6 for three months (that’s just £2 a month!).
		Renew every three months to keep your stall running.

Become a member of 2good2tip

A simple process will take you through registration and our secure payment gateway. Don’t forget: all information you give online is secure and will not be passed on – see our terms for full details. Your membership will then be confirmed and you will be given a unique membership number. You will be able to use your username when logging into your stall area or in any correspondence with us. Once registered, you can log back in at any time and make as many changes to your stall as you like.

Set out your stall

Start uploading photos of the things you want to sell with a brief description of each.

Decide the places you want your stall to be seen

Make use of your full number of allocated community places: up to five or up to eight, depending on your chosen level. The more places you put your stall, the quicker you’ll shift your stuff!

AT HOME: pick a geographical location, for example your village or town district. Just locate your home area using our interactive map, or type a postcode or name into the search facility.

AT WORK / AT YOUR CLUB / TODDLER GROUP / SCHOOL etc.: simply enter that name and address and, if it’s not already set up as a community, it will automatically start up for you.

Personalise your stall!

Choose one of the options to change the colour scheme and theme. We'll be adding more themes in the coming months - check out our blog for all the latest developments.

Finally...

...remember to email all your friends, family and colleagues with your unique stall address (this will be given to you – simply cut and paste the address into the body of an email and your friends can click to go straight to your stall) so they can see what you have for sale. Encourage them to have a stall too so you can browse their stuff in turn!

Browsing/searching

2good2tip is all about allowing you not only to buy, sell or swap with people local to you, but also to browse around stalls that are local to you – just like you would at a car-boot or tabletop sale: stumbling across things you weren’t even looking for is all part of the fun!

The 2good2tip difference is that you can find and build local communities and deal with people face to face in small local groups. So find your local area or groups first and then browse the stalls to see what’s on offer.

It’s easy to contact stallholders if you see something you’d like to buy. We just ask that you register (for free!) before doing this. And don’t worry: we only ask for your details to protect our stallholders and to keep everything transparent.

The 2good2tip difference

2good2tip is completely different from other internet marketplace sites because it’s all about creating friendly communities in which to buy, sell or swap. You may even decide you want to donate all your proceeds to your favourite charity or save it up as pocket money for the kids!

We only charge you a small subscription fee to have a stall. Once you have it you can buy and sell or swap whichever way you want to – and you keep everything you make: we don’t take any commission whatsoever.

And, of course, keeping things out of the tip helps the environment!
